Apple has posted turnover of 8.34 billion USD and net quarterly profit 1.23 billion dollars for the third quarter of fiscal 2009. This is compared to turnover of 7.46 billion USD and net quarterly profit 1.07 billion dollars in the same quarter last year.
These are Apple's best non-holiday quarterly revenue and earnings. Apple sold 5.2 million iPhones in the third quarter and reported that the response to the new iPhone 3GS is enormous.

5.2 * one million iPhones sold in the third quarter and reported that the response to the new iPhone 3GS is so overpowering that they are not able to iPhone 3GS demand. Apple is working on the issue.

* IPhone produced 1.689 billion dollars of revenue sequentially by 37 percent in units and 11 percent of revenues, and annual results are not less than 626 percent in units sold and 303 percent increase in revenue.
* IPod Touch has a very good quarter, thanks to the App Store, which now has more than 65,000 iPhone Apps, iPhone, and users have downloaded more than 1.5 billion of iPhone Apps.
* IPhone is a production of "growing interest" thanks to iPhone OS 3.0 and iPhone, which adds 3GS hardware data encryption.
* JD Power ranked iPhone highest in satisfaction with the business users.
* Asked about the "race to the bottom of the App Store prices, Apple is said to work on making further improvements in the App Store, but explained that, for the developers to decide where the price of the iPhone app.
* For Apple to bring iPhone to China, this is a priority project and expects that will happen within a year.
* Apple, remains to be seen with the AT & T as an "excellent relationship".
