Apple claims “exploding” iPhones due to screen pressure.

Last week, reports surfaced that Apple was investigating reports of "exploding" iPhones, encouraged by the publicity the case of a French teenager who allegedly received eye injuries when the screen of his iPhone crushed.

AFP reported earlier this week that the additional requirements to explode iPhones had appeared that France and the official consumer affairs office had launched an investigation into reports.

Despite claims to the contrary by those who are affected by the bug, Apple claims that the incidents are not the result of a battery problem, but instead is caused by too much pressure on the screen of the iPhone's.

"To date, no confirmed cases of overheated batteries, iPhone 3G, and the number of reports which we examine in the single digits, the company said in a statement
